A professor at the University of Cincinnati, Westin Robeson is a historian of the American experience in World War II and early American history.  He published his book Buttoned Up: American Armor and the 781st Tank Battalion in World War II in 2018 (Texas A&M University Press). He is a researcher and writer for the Institute for the Study of War and Democracy at the National World War II Museum.  He also teaches Early American History and History through Film and Literature at school in Cincinnati.  His current research is on the mechanization of the U.S. Army during the interwar years.
